THE AUDIT · FIXED SCOPE · £1,000

Find out what's actually possible before you spend a penny on it.

A fixed-scope Local SEO audit of your business — not a generic scan. We look at where you really rank near your customers, what's holding you back, and whether Google can realistically deliver for a business like yours. You get a written report, a straight recommendation, and 45 minutes to talk it through.

What it is

A diagnosis, not a to-do list.

Most "free audits" are a script pointed at your website. Forty-seven auto-generated issues, ranked by nothing in particular, designed to alarm you into a call. Nobody read it before it landed in your inbox.

The Audit is the opposite. We start from your real business — your services, your area, your Google Business Profile, the thing you feel is broken — and gather what's actually happening in local search around you. Then a person reads it. Not a template, not a scoring engine. Someone who has done this work looks at your data and tells you what it means.

What the Audit is not: it isn't an implementation plan, and it isn't a task list. It won't tell you to write twelve blog posts. It tells you what's structurally true about your position, what would have to change, and whether that change is worth making. If it isn't worth making, we say so.

That's a deliberate line. Diagnosis and doing are different jobs, and blurring them is how agencies sell work nobody needed. The Audit is the diagnosis. What you do next is your decision, made with better information than you had before.

The deliverable

Exactly what you get.

Eight things, all of them yours to keep, whatever you decide afterwards.

  1. A Google Maps visibility sample across your area — where you actually rank near your customers, not a single-point check.

  2. A Google Business Profile risk scan — what on your profile is exposing you to volatility or suspension.

  3. A local competitor baseline and review-velocity snapshot — how your position and review pace compare to the firms ranking above you.

  4. An entity and NAP consistency check — where your name, address and phone disagree across the web, and what that costs you.

  5. Your findings sorted by what's structural and what isn't — separated into what's fixable, what's the market, and what's noise, so you know what actually moves the needle.

  6. A written report — plain findings, no sales pitch. Declarative. No tactics dump, no upsell.

  7. A human judgement pass — not an automated PDF. Someone reads your data and writes a short executive summary and one strategic recommendation: whether Google is structurally capable of delivering for you, whether your current spend is rational, and the single risk worth protecting.

  8. A 45-minute walkthrough — we talk it through properly, and you can ask anything.

Price

One price, agreed before we start.

The Audit is a fixed-scope product, not an open-ended engagement. You know the price before you commit, and it doesn't move once we're in it. There is no hourly rate, no scope creep, and no invoice at the end that's larger than the number on this page.

  • One business, one primary trading area.
  • All eight deliverables above, in full.
  • A written report you keep, whatever you decide next.
  • A 45-minute walkthrough call.
  • No retainer commitment. No obligation of any kind.
What happens next

If it makes sense to go further, it goes further.

Some businesses read the Audit, do the work themselves, and never speak to us again. That's a legitimate outcome and it's the reason the report is written to be useful on its own rather than as a sales document.

Others decide the work is worth doing and would rather not do it. That's when a retainer conversation makes sense — and by then we both know exactly what we'd be working on, because it's written down in front of us. No discovery phase, no guessing, no proposal built on assumptions.

If you go on to a retainer, the £1,000 is credited against your first month.

The Audit isn't a toll on the way in. It's the first piece of the work, and if we carry on, you've already paid for it.

Retainers run on 28-day rolling terms. No long contracts, no lock-in. The results keep you, or nothing does.

Who it's for

This is worth your money if…

  • You depend on local customers. You serve a real area and you need to be found in it.
  • Something isn't working and you don't know why. Enquiries have dropped, or never started, or you're spending on ads to paper over it.
  • You've been sold marketing before and can't tell whether it worked. You want a straight answer from someone who isn't selling you the next thing in the same breath.
  • You'd rather know the truth than be flattered. If Google can't realistically deliver for your business, the Audit will tell you that. Some people don't want to hear it. If you don't, don't buy it.

And it's not for you if: you want someone to guarantee a #1 ranking, or you want the work done rather than diagnosed. We can't do the first, and the second is a retainer, not an audit.

Proof

We run the same systems we sell.

No fabricated client counts, no borrowed logos. The evidence is the infrastructure — live and in production.

A live review-capture product

A review-capture product we built and run, currently live and handling review requests in production for a multi-location client. Proof we ship real systems, not just decks.

Automation infrastructure

Reporting pipelines and workflows running on the same stack we deploy for client reporting. The operation scales because it's built to.

A repeatable audit method

The same audit framework applied to every engagement — including this site. If we don't pass our own test, we don't ship it.
